“ StudioTime ‘s goal is to nurture a ‘can-do’ spirit within each young artist, inspire confidence, and celebrate self-expression.”

“Hello! My name is Patrice Hinz, and I opened Alameda StudioTime in 2009 to share my passion for the arts with young artists, makers and learners. My professional resume is mostly in entertainment advertising and design, movies and TV. When my daughter was young and I was looking for connection and learning for her as a homeschool mom, I opened up my home studio to homeschoolers and looked for ways to engage all learning styles through fun and challenging projects. The studio learning was so fun and joyful (for myself and the kids) and it produced such GREAT results that I opened up the studio to more and more students.”

“As teacher/mentors we share so much of our own creative and artistic process with the kids! We love to stretch and grow in our own work and we introduce fresh concepts, the use of tools, techniques and varied mediums, to challenge and excite young artists as they grow and gain confidence.”
